“I Am Martin Luther King Jr.” drawings

I just turned in the final drawings for I Am Martin Luther King Jr. which will be published by Scholastic in December 2012. Barring any final corrections from the editors, it’s all done (all 76 drawings)! I was given permission to post a couple of images that I completed for the book. All the illustrations are black and white interiors done with pencil on vellum. Pretty soon I’ll be updating my portfolio to include a black and white section now that I have all this new work! I’m about to start on another book project which I will write about in a blog post on another day. Quite a busy summer!
