39 Clues map and Norway!

In front of Borgund Stave Church

Hello! I am recently back from two weeks in Norway with Scott. We traveled from Oslo to Bergen by train, rented a car and drove from Jotunheimen mountains down to Stavanger and Pulpit’s Rock. It was an amazing trip, but it’s definitely time to get back to work! Two weeks is a long time to not be illustrating. In the next few weeks, I will be finishing up the illustrations for the The Shadowhunter’s Codex, and I also have the Brendan and the Beast book cover to finish. Excited to see where the rest of 2012 takes me!

A card I did for a card pack in Scholastic’s 39 Clues series came out earlier this month, so I’m allowed to share it: a map of Magellan’s journey!

The 39 Clues design and text was done by the Scholastic designer. This was another fun map to do! Ink with digital color.
