Portfolio Update

Happy blizzard day! Just working on a few things in the warm comfort of my home, as the storm of the year begins.

I just updated my portfolio to include a black & white section. It’s not much yet, but it will be growing this year as more of my black and white work is published (The Shadowhunter’s Codex which comes out in September and another Scholastic biography I will writer about later). I’m not sure if I ever blogged about also adding a map section. So yes! My color work, my black and white work, and my map work can now all be seen on my site.

In other news, aside from the Scholastic book I mentioned, which I will be working on over the next month/month and a half, I also just finished a book cover for a new client, Small Beer Press. I believe the book comes out in October, so I can share it then. I also signed up for a booth at Gen Con Indianapolis, so you can see me there August 15-18. I’ll be selling prints and original framed paintings. This will be my first booth display at a convention so I’m excited! I will probably also be at Spectrum Live in May and Illuxcon in September, but just hanging out.

And again, you can find me on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/albaillustration!

Now I just need to get started on my taxes… ):

  1. Hi Elisabeth. I wrote Spider in a Tree, the novel you just did the cover for for Small Beer Press, and I love it more than I can say. It’s so full of the spirit of the 18th century New England meeting house. Thank you for your delicious work. I’m going to post the cover in my facebook tomorrow!

Thank you so much, Susan! It was a lot of fun to work on (:
